Putnam Valley, New York – On January 15, 2018 the New York State Police arrested Derek G. Sutter, age 35 of Putnam Valley for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Violating and Order of Protection, both class A misdemeanors, and Candice L. Sutter, age 35, of Putnam Valley, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Attempted Assault in the 3rddegree, both class A misdemeanors.

On January 15, 2018 at approximately 10:37 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to Argyle Street in the town of Putnam Valley for a domestic dispute.  Investigation found Derek and Candice Sutter engaged in a physical domestic in the presence of a child.  Derek Sutter in addition violated a duly served order of protection.

Derek and Candice Sutter were arraigned before the town of Putnam Valley Court.  Candice Sutter was released on her own recognizance with a return date of January 18, 2018, at 9:30 a.m.  Derek Sutter was remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond with a return date of January 23, 2018, at 9:30 a.m.
