Judith Ann Platt, 70, of Homosassa, FL passed away January 11, 2018, at her residence in Homosassa. She was born in Hudson, NY on December 16, 1947, to the late Harold and Shirley (Blue) Phillips. Judith was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 2013, coming from Millerton, NY. She was a Protestant by faith and attended First United Methodist Church of Homosassa. Judith was a charter member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Dover Plains, NY, and enjoyed playing games on her tablet, doing puzzle books, and watching TV.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jason Wayne Platt. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 44 years, Clifford Platt. Other survivors include her children, Leo Wayne Martel, Jr. of Wellborn, FL, Christine Marie Chavis and her husband Howard of Wellborn, and Angela Mae Vedder and her husband Russell of Homosassa; brothers Harold and Gary Phillips; sisters Nancy Bodynark and Diana Pelkoski; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
