Poughquag – Susan Jane Zobelt, of Poughquag, New York, passed away on January 11, 2018. Susan was born in Tarrytown, New York to the late William and Betty Scoralick. Susan received a bachelors degree in Home Economics from SUNY Plattsburgh, after which she taught in the Elmsford school district for five years. Following this, she worked for Social Services in White Plains. She finished her work career as a school bus driver for Westchester Jumbo Taxi. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Susan was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her friends and family. Susan is survived by her husband Walter, daughter Claryssa and granddaughter Elizabeth. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 16 from 1:00-3: 00 pm and 6:00-8: 00 pm at 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains. Cremation services will be Wednesday, January 17.
