Southeast, New York – On January 11, 2018, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Allen P. Bredbenner, age 35, of Danbury, CT, for Assault in the 3rddegree, and Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree, both class A misdemeanors.

On January 11, 2018, at approximately 7:35 p.m., a victim drove into the parking lot of SP Brewster to report a crime in progress.  Troopers and Investigators took the passenger of the vehicle into custody and began the investigation.  It was found that Bredbenner, while a passenger in a moving vehicle, repeatedly struck the pregnant operator in the face and stomach with a closed fist.  The victim was taken to Putnam Hospital for evaluation.

Bredbenner was arraigned before the town of Southeast Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
