Obituary, Phillip Francis Bullied Sr.

 

Ripton – Phillip Francis Bullied Sr. 57, passed away on December 11, 2017 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington VT. Born February 20, 1960 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Son of the late William and Phyllis (King) Bullied. He was a graduate of Dover High School, class of 1978 in Dover Plains NY. Moved to Ripton, VT in 2002 where he spent the majority of his time until his final days.

Phillip was a skilled Tool & Die Machinist for 35 years. Starting his career at Kent Manufacturing in Kent CT and moved on to a couple more Machinist jobs before ending at Hayward Tyler out of Colchester VT. He loved to tinker with computers and created many hobbies out of them. Extremely tech savvy he helped many people with their computer problems and started a couple businesses from it, the most recent Vermont Web Works as a hosting provider for many local company websites. Phillip was always willing to help others regardless of the issue even when it did not pertain to computers or something he was knowledgeable about. This led to him making many friends who considered him family.

Survived by his loving spouse Colleen and sons Phillip Jr., Daniel and Michael and elder brother Tom and sister Cathy (Young). Predeceased by his elder brother William (Bill).

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW in Middlebury VT. on Saturday December 16th from 2-6pm. Veterans of Foreign Wars, 530 Exchange St. Middlebury, VT 05753. The family would prefer donations to your most favored charity.
