Town of Southeast man arrested for hate crime

Southeast, New York – On December 6, 2017 the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Jeevan P. Abraham, age 29, of Southeast, for Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree as a Hate Crime, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers and Investigators from SP Brewster conducted an investigation which found Abraham threatened a victim due to sexual orientation.

Abraham was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Southeast Court and an order of protection from the court requested on behalf of the victim.
