Lindsay Demers of Wingdale competes for the SUNY Oneonta women’s cross country team

ONEONTA, NY (12/08/2017)– Lindsay Demers a Biology with Pre-Physical Therapy major from Wingdale, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta women’s cross country team.

The team competed in eight meets this fall and finished sixth at the SUNYAC Championships. The team finished 21st at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.

Lindsay competed in six meets this fall and posted a season best 6K time of 26:25.4 at the Mike Woods Invitational.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor’s degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta is a member of NCAA Division III and competes in the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletic venues including two field turf fields.
