State Police Highland arrest Lagrangeville man for Assault 1st Degree

PRESS RELEASE
On 12/03/17, State Police at Highland charged JOVAN A. WILKINS, age 25, of Lagrangeville N.Y. with Assault in the First Degree, a Class B Felony.
At approximately 4:30 AM, SP Highland was contacted by two area hospitals that were reporting two subjects were being treated with stab wounds. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that a large house party had taken place on Jorge Lane in the Town of Plattekill and when the party was dispersing, a physical fight occurred resulting in injuries. WILKINS was arraigned before the Honorable Robert W. Murphy in the Town of Plattekill Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
