Patterson Fire Dept. No.1, Inc
At approximately 9:10 AM on Friday, November 22, 2017, the Patterson Fire Department was dispatched to a one car accident on Route 22 near Thunder Ridge Road.
Our Heavy Rescue apparatus, 22-6-1, arrived to find a car off the roadway and into the woods. Thankfully, the driver was not trapped and was out of the vehicle, and being evaluated by EMT’s, upon arrival of our firefighters, who then proceeded to mitigate the roadway hazards / debris cleanup, while the vehicle was recovered from the woods by the tow truck.
The Patterson Fire Department’s Fire Police assisted the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control.
