SP New Lebanon – Lebanon man arrested after Domestic Dispute

New Lebanon, New York – On December 2, 2017, the New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation from SP Livingston arrested Dustin J. Anderson, age 31, of New Lebanon, for Strangulation in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, two counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2ndDegree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, Preventing an Emergency Call for Help, all Class A Misdemeanors.

On December 2, 2017, Columbia County 911 dispatched Troopers to a residence on State Route 20 in the Town of New Lebanon for a report of a domestic dispute.  Troopers found that the suspect had fled the area after committing acts of violence against an adult and a child victim.  Anderson was located later on December 2, 2017, and taken into custody without incident.

Anderson was arraigned before the Town of New Lebanon Justice Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.  Anderson is next scheduled to appear before the court on December 7, 2017, at 4:00 PM.
