Small Business Saturday 11/25
Poughkeepsie…Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro encourages residents and visitors to support our local community by taking part in Small Business Saturday in Dutchess County on November 25th. Small Business Saturday is a national event held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The movement is dedicated to supporting the local businesses that help give our neighborhoods character and make our home special. The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with American Express to highlight local businesses in our community.
County Executive Molinaro said, “Dutchess County is home to many notable locally made products, as well as eateries, artisans, and recreational assets, showcasing what makes us ‘Distinctly Dutchess.’ By supporting our local businesses on Small Business Saturday and throughout the year, we not only help our economy thrive but our community as a whole benefits from the investment made by residents and visitors. Our Th!nk Dutchess Alliance for Business works closely with small businesses throughout our community. These businesses are the heart of our community and the backbone of our economy. When shopping for gifts for your family and friends this holiday season, be sure to ‘Shop Small’ and ‘Think Dutchess’ to take advantage of the variety of unique offerings available at local businesses close to home.”
