Obituary, Phyllis DiPalmero

 

BEEKMAN – Phyllis DiPalmero, 87, a resident of Poughquag since 1990 and previously of Floral Park, died on Sunday November 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 25, 1930 in New York, Phyllis was the daughter of Joseph and Rosina (Frisina) Polizzi. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church and cherished her family.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Luciano DiPalermo on July 24, 2002. Survivors include her children, John DiPalmero and his wife Josephine, Celesterose Boula and her husband William Jr., and Rosemarie Mannino and her husband Giuseppe; her grandchildren, Luciano and Francesco DiPalermo, Steven and Brandon Farrell, and Luciana Filippa Mannino; and her sister, Madelina Proctor. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Josephine Pluta.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at , 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Pawling Cemetery.
