This morning at 06:36 hours, Rhinebeck units were dispatched to an automatic alarm of fire at the Beekman Arms property. Car 3 arrived first and upon initial scene size up found a smoke condition in an adjoining building housing guest rooms. A full first alarm assignment was transmitted, putting Hillside and Rhinecliff FDs on standby. Interior crews located a fire in a second floor guest room and quickly contained and extinguished it. The cause of this fire remains under investigation by the Dutchess County Sherriffs Office and the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division.
