School breakfast is an ideal solution on mornings when kids are running late or parents have early commitments. Whatever the reason, if breakfast at home is not convenient, take advantage of breakfast in our schools. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch automatically qualify for a free or reduced-price breakfast.
MySchoolBucks: Parents who send in cash or a check with their students to the cafeteria can take advantage of the same features given to parents who pay by credit/debit card. Monitor student cafeteria purchases, view account balances and set email notifications for low account balances. Visit www.MySchoolBucks.com to register for a free account.

The Carmel Rams Booster Club would like to thank all sponsors, program advertisers and local businesses who supported our student athletes! Amanda Lynne, GFMS Art Teacher and CCSD Art Department Chair announces the opening of her art show, “Dance of the Dragonfly” at The Beekman Public Library, 11 Town Center Blvd, Poughquag, Nov. 18-Jan 17. Opening reception is Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1-3pm, featuring live classical guitar by Ken Krieger, husband of GFMS Librarian Liz Krieger. Refreshments. All are invited.

2018 GFMS Yearbooks are on sale now! Fall sale now until Nov. 17, 2017–Yearbooks are $43 plus tax and cost of personalization. GREEN CHIMNEYS CLEARPOOL EVENTS
1. Conquer the Forest Trail Run: Saturday, Nov. 18. Join in for the first ever challenge run through the open fields and forest trails of Green Chimneys’ Clearpool Campus. SANTA’S VISION SPONSORS SANTA’S VISIT TO FISHKILL
Saturday, Dec. 9, 9am to 2pm14 Schuyler Blvd. Fishkill. Free picture with Santa, pony rides, animal exhibit, costume characters. Donation requested is a non-perishable food item to be given to a local food pantry.
CIVIL WAR EXHIBIT AT KENT PUBLIC LIBRARY
Now through November! Check out this informative exhibit by CHS student Tyler Dicembrino in the Genealogy & Local History Room. The display includes information on battlefield tours, the Civil War Trust, the Gettysburg Foundation, maps of the battlefields and much more!
GREEN CHIMNEYS COMMUNITY OUTREACH CENTER ACTIVITIES/EVENTS
All take place at the Community Outreach Center, 965 Route 22, Brewster, NY
  • Teen Night, Thursdays from 6-8pm and Fridays, 2:30-8pm. A safe environment to hang out with friends, play pool, watch movies. Free internet, homework help, peer support groups, arts and crafts and more.
  • LGBTQ–Alliance provides safe space for LGBTQ and allied youth and young adults ages 13-21 to build community and promote social justice through empowerment. Ongoing group every 3rd Saturday from 11:15am to 12noon. For info contact Dora or Patrick at 845 279-1467.
  • General hours at the center are TuesdayWednesdayThursday from 2:30-6pm, and Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
