Friends of Millbrook Library To Hold 12th Annual Holiday Silent Auction

The 12th Annual Millbrook Library Holiday Silent Auction will take place from December 2nd to the 16th at Millbrook Library.  Organized by The Friends of the Millbrook Library, all proceeds from this event directly support the Library by underwriting special projects not covered by the Library’s operating budget.

More than 50 unique auction items will be featured including:

  • The custom services of Hunt & Harvest for an exclusive dinner for 6 or 8 in your home or the intimate setting of your choice
  •  A Joyce Heaton-selected 14K cable chain necklace with an 18K yellow gold and green tourmaline column pendant
  • Custom riding britches from Argento Equestrian and a one-on-one equestrian Pilates class with Tammy Geiger
  • An overnight stay at Blue Barn BnB with complementary bottle of Clinton Vineyard Champagne
  • A weekend stay for your pet at Albanhaus Kennel
  • Friday night stay for you or your guests at Millbrook Country House
  • A festive basket of Italian condiments, oil and wine with original CDs of jazz in the Italian style by musician Don Egry

  • A variety of gift certificates from local businesses including Merritt Bookstore, Country Postman, Jennifer’s Nail Salon, Les Baux, Maura’s Kitchen and many more

A complete list of auction items will be available on the Library website at the end of November.

All auction items will be on display in the Gallery of Millbrook Library, 3 Friendly Lane, beginning Friday, December 1st from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a wine and cheese preview party to launch the bidding. This will be a great opportunity to do some holiday gift shopping prior to the Millbrook’s Parade of Lights that evening.

A Closing-Bid Party to make final bids on favorite items will take place on Saturday, December 16th from 3:30 – 5 p.m.
