Wayne J. Bardua, 66, of Palm Coast, FL formerly of Pawling, NY, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29th, 2017 from a stroke.
He was born on September 15, 1951 in Danbury, CT to Jean Bardua and the late Donald G. Bardua.
Wayne was a graduate of Pawling High School. He also graduated from SUNY Oswego & SUNY New Paltz. Prior to his retirement, he was a 5th grade science teacher in Highland Falls where he made an impact on so many of his adoring students’ lives.
On July 31, 2004, Wayne married Patricia (Trish) Duffy Emmons. She survives in Palm Coast.
He is also survived by his mother, Jean of Pawling; sisters Donna Bardua of Cary, NC and Diane (Norman) Alpren of Long Beach, NY, and brothers Ed (Karen) Bardua of Pawling, NY and David (Rene`) Bardua of Wake Forest, NC.; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 22 Coulter Avenue, Pawling, NY 12564 on Friday, November 24th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Pawling Cemetery.
