SAVE THE DATE!!  2017 Proposed Capital Project referendum to be voted upon by residents of the district on Monday, December 11. More information can be found on our website, including dates of public presentations (Thursday, Nov. 9, GFMS Library, 6:30pm and Wednesday, Nov. 15, CHS Library, 6:30pm) to learn more about the projects and have your questions answered.
 
School breakfast is an ideal solution on mornings when kids are running late or parents have early commitments. Whatever the reason, if breakfast at home is not convenient, take advantage of breakfast in our schools. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch automatically qualify for a free or reduced-price breakfast.

General Education Supports & Special Education Eligibility-A Discussion. Wednesday, November 8 from 7-9pm at GFMS. SPACE IS LIMITED! The discussion will include the availability of general education supports, 504 plans, requests for referrals, evaluations, timelines, and the factors considered for special education eligibility and IEPs. Jostens will be returning to CHS on Wednesday, November 8 for any senior who as not ordered a cap and gown. They will be in the cafeteria during lunch periods (approx. 10am to 1pmEvery student needs to place an order for a Cap/Gown/Tassel Unit. There is a choice of red, white or blue. Cost is $33. Applications and Information for the 2017-2018 GFMS Science Fair are now available. Visit the GFMS home page and look for the Science Corner section. This year’s fair is on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
KES NEWS
KES and the National Circus Project present Family Fun Night tonightFriday, November 3 at 6pm at GFMS. KES 4th graders, along with the artists from the Circus will be putting on a show. Parents must accompany your children. Admission fee is a donation of a non-perishable food item that will be donated to a local organization.
