DCC to Stage ‘Cabaret’ Nov. 10-12, 17-19

October 31, 2017 – The 1998 version of the musical “Cabaret” will be staged Nov. 10-12 and 17-19 by members of the Dutchess Community College Performing Arts program and students in DCC’s Masquers’ Guild Theatre Club, under the direction of Fred Wolinsky.

Show times for Friday and Saturday shows, Nov. 10, 11, 17 and 18, are 8 p.m. Sunday show times, Nov. 12 and 19, are 2 p.m. The Nov. 12 performance will be sign-language interpreted for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. All performances will be held in the James and Betty Hall Theatre on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus.

Cabaret explores the dark, heady and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Due to adult themes, the show is suggested for mature audiences.

Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before each performance. General admission is $10; senior citizens and students are $5; free for DCC students with ID.
