Police: Poughquag NY man who urinated in bushes hides from officer in alleyway

HACKETTSTOWN NJ — Urinating in bushes in front of Bea McNally’s Irish Pub and then disregarding a law officer’s orders twice led to the arrest of a New York man on charges including disorderly conduct.

Michael Andrade, 20, of Poughquag, N.Y., was charged with disorderly conduct, consumption of alcohol by a minor and obstructing the administration of law.

At 12:22 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, a Hackettstown officer observed a male urinating in the bushes in front of Bea McNally’s Irish Pub on Grand Avenue, police said.

The officer announced his presence and advised the male — later identified as Andrade — not to move but Andrade looked at the officer and walked into the pub.

The officer located Andrade inside the restaurant and escorted him to the patrol car, advising him not to leave, police said.

As the officer was issuing the summons, Andrade left the scene but was found hiding in an alleyway, according to police.

He was arrested and released pending a court appearance.
