Obituary, Shirley Audenino

 

 

Beekman – Shirley Ruth Audenino, 95, died on October 30, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in the Bronx on September 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Greiner) Klotz. Shirley was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx and was employed as the district secretary for New York Telephone in the Bronx for 30 years. She was a member of the Beekman Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, taking cruises and trips to Atlantic City and Branson.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Frank Audenino, on May 14, 1991; and by her daughter, Linda Nunziatta on December 11, 1995. She is survived by her son, Francis Audenino and his wife Patricia of Pine Plains; her grandchildren, Francis Audenino Jr. of Poughquag, Kristen and Joe Fischetti of Pleasant Valley, Erica and Miguel Ramirez of Ossining, Travis Audenino of Manlius, and Abigail Audenino of Pine Plains; and her great-grandchildren, Lillian Grace Fischetti, Mia Linda Ramirez, and Joseph David Fischetti.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial be offered on Thursday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
