Livingston, New York – On October 20, 2017 the State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Steven T. Beers, age 27, of Pine Plains, NY, for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.

Columbia County 911 dispatched Troopers to the burglary on Elm Street in the Town of Livingston on October 19, 2017, at approximately 7:10 PM.  Troopers arrived shortly after the suspect left and were informed the suspect was familiar to the victim.  Continued investigation then led to the arrest of Beers for Burglary in the 2nd Degree.

Beers was arraigned before the Town of Livingston Justice Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash and $5,000 bond.  Beers is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Livingston Justice Court on November 16, 2017, at 6:00 PM.
