Officers Arrest Couple with Heroin and other Drugs:
On October 17 at 10:43 PM, an Officer stopped a car on Route 82 in Hopewell Jct. The driver was identified as Mikal Anderson, 40, of Pleasant Valley. It was learned that the couple in the car had been involved in an incident a few minutes earlier at the Stewart’s Shop on Rte 82. While investigating, Officers discovered that Anderson and his passenger were in possession of a quantity of Brown Heroin, Oxycodone , Valium and MDMA, also known as Molly. Also discovered was Marihuana (legal spelling) and Suboxone. Police also seized over $930. cash.
Anderson was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B Felony. Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, a class D Felony, and Unlawful possession of Marihuana, a violation. The passenger in the car, Nicole Creighton, 30, of Pougkeepsie, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Misdemeanor and Unlawful possession of Marihuana, a violation.
Anderson was arraigned before East Fishkill Justice Brian Rudner. Anderson was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000. Bond. Creighton was released on her own recognizance. Both are due in East Fishkill court at a later date.
