Woman arrested for Drug Possession after driving 121 MPH in Stanford

Stanford, New York – On October 12, 2017 the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Nicole Mishiyev, age 20, of Brooklyn, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, all Class A Misdemeanors, Reckless Driving, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation, and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.

Troopers observed the suspect vehicle traveling at 103 miles per hour northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Stanford.  While attempting to conduct a Vehicle and Traffic stop the suspect continued passing uninvolved vehicles at reckless speeds.  The maximum record speed of the suspect vehicle was 121 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.  Search of the vehicle found a small amount of marihuana and 31 individually packaged 500 milliliter canisters of concentrated marihuana.

Mishiyev was issued Appearance Tickets returnable to the Town of Stanford Justice Court on October 25, 2017, at 6:00 PM.
