SP Dover – Dover man arrested after domestic Strangulation investigation

Dover, New York – On October 8, 2017, the New York State Police from the Dover barracks arrested Nicholas D. Zagarella, age 28, of Dover, for Strangulation in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Assault in the 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers received and investigated a complaint of a past occurred domestic incident between the reporting victim and Zagarella.
Zagarella was arraigned before the Dover Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. Zagarella is next scheduled to appear before the Dover Justice Court on October, 17, 2017 at 4:00 PM.
