Two Men Arrested For Burglary of Auto Parts Store

The New York State Police in Montgomery report the arrest of Robert Grahn, age 28, and Edward Defreese, age 40, for Burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony.

Mr. Grahn and Mr. Defreese burglarized an auto parts store located in the Town of Newburgh by breaking out the glass of the front door and stealing cash from the register.

Further investigation revealed that Mr. Grahn and Mr. Defreese are also responsible for stealing numerous auto parts from new car dealerships in the Middletown, NY and Ramsey, NJ area.  Investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.

Both defendants were arraigned in the Town of Newburgh Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash to return 10/10/17.
