Cortlandt, New York – The New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Timothy C. Green, age 58, of Cortlandt, for Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree Interfering with a call for emergency assistance, a Class A Misdemeanor, Menacing in the 3rd Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Violation.Troopers received a call for a welfare check of an intoxicated male on Sprout Brook Road in the Town of Cortlandt.  Once on scene Troopers found a domestic dispute had taken place, and began investigating.  Troopers determined the domestic dispute began when the victim advised Green he should not leave for work while intoxicated.  The victim called 911 when Green attempted to operate a vehicle.  The domestic dispute then became physical, and Green attempted to prevent the victim from calling for emergency assistance.

Green was arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail for $2,500 cash bail or $2,500 bond.  Green is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on October 16, 2017, at 9:00 AM.
