Stanfordville, NY – Barbara D. (Price) Murphy, 62, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY.
She was born on January 10, 1955 in Waynesburg, PA the daughter of the late Burl and Clara (McNeely) Price.
Barbara was a therapy aid at Taconic DDSO in Wassaic, NY for over thirty years.
She devoted her life to her family and friends. She loved to cook, bake and pass her recipes off to her girls. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling.
Survivors include her three daughters, Amy (Jeffrey) Holsopple, Kara Murphy and Laura (Carlos) Maisonet; four sisters, Marcia Morris, Deborah (Doug) Closser, Holly (Clarence) Ely, all of Waynesburg, PA; and Sally (Steve) Pachol of Morgantown, WV; three brothers, Charles (Judy), Brian “Butch” both of Waynesburg, PA and Blair “Rocky” Price of Amenia, NY; ten grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Holsopple, Kaitlin Wisniewski, Desiree Epps, Jordan Graham, Justin, Brandan, Brittany, Dillon and Christina Maisonet; one great granddaughter, Gemma Riso and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
