WOMEN’S SUPPORT SERVICES TO BEGIN NEW SUPPORT GROUP

“There is nothing more important than knowing you are not alone,” says Liz Davis, the Counselor Advocate and facilitator of the new WSS support group.

[Sharon, CT] – (September 2017) – A new support group is starting for women who are worried about whether their relationship is unhealthy. This group is open and on-going and is client-centered. It will focus on education and identifying strengths and safety options. “We support women whether they are choosing to end an unhealthy relationship or they are choosing to continue with their relationship,” says Davis.

The Safety, Healing and Peer Empowerment Group (S.H.A.P.E.) will start on Tuesday November 7th, 2017. It will run from 6 pm to 7:30 pm each week. This group will be held at a confidential and safe location. Please contact Liz at (860) 364-1900 for further information on this important resource.
