President Roosevelt at the Quaker Hill Country Club 1935


President Roosevelt watches a baseball game between White House newspapermen (the Tigers) and the Lowell Thomas Saints and Sinners, on the fairway of the Quaker Hill Country Club Pawling, NY. Although cheered lustily by the Chief Executive, the Tigers went down to defeat, 23-16. Mr. Roosevelt arrived on the grounds in a car driven by Vincent Astor.
