State Police in Poughkeepsie arrest Pleasant Valley man following traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE
Pleasant Valley, New York – On August 28, 2017, the New York State Police arrested Erik M. Dianni, age 21, of Pleasant Valley, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree with Intent to Sell, a Class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Class C Felony, and five counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Dianni was stopped in the Town of Pleasant Valley for speeding on Route 44.  Subsequent to an investigation Dianni was found to be in possession of Suboxone, Alprazolam, Zolpidem Tartrate, Amphetamine, Dextroamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin.

Dianni was placed under arrested and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail over $20,000 bond by the Town of Pleasant Valley Justice Court. Dianni’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 21, 2017 at 5:00PM.
