State Police arrest Coxsackie couple for multiple charges

The New York State Police in Catskill announce the arrest of Dennis F. Foster JR, age 42, of Coxsackie.  Foster was arrested for two separate counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony, four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor, obstructing governmental administration, a class A misdemeanor, and resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor.  On Saturday August 12th, New York State Troopers initiated a vehicle and traffic stop on a Chevrolet Colorado in the area of the Hope Plaza on Route 9W in the Town of Coxsackie at approximately 8:40 pm.  Foster was found to be in possession of Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, numerous prescription pills without a valid prescription, and an imitation pistol.  State Police also arrested Chelsi Ferriere who was a passenger in the vehicle for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, for being in possession of Heroin.? The two suspects were arraigned in the Town of Coxsackie Court and were remanded to the Greene County Jail.  Foster’s bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond, Ferriere’s bail was set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
