Vincent A. “Vinney” Panigrosso, Jr., age 65, passed away on August 8, 2017, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT.
Vinney was born in the Bronx, on March 6, 1952, to Vincent and Rosemarie (Naccarato) Panigrosso. He grew up there and attended High School and also took some college courses as well.
On April 21, 1973, he married Edna Keller, also of the Bronx. Thereafter, they moved to Patterson, NY where they raised their two daughters. Vinney worked for many years as an auto mechanic for the Putnam County Highway Department. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church in Patterson.
Vinney is survived by his wife, Edna of 44 years, daughters Tracey Marshall (Jessie), of Hopewell Junction, and Bridget Engelhardt (Brian) of LaGrangeville. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Andrew and Abigail Engelhardt, Carter and Cassie Marshall, his mother Rosemarie and a sister, Tina Fragala.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on August 14, at Sacred Heart Church in Patterson. The family will be receiving family and friends at 1 Putnam Ave. Brewster, NY on August 13, from 2-6pm.
