Suzanne Shillington Fell died peacefully at home on Wednesday July 19, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late John Fell. Proud mother of Justine Fell, the late John Shillington Fell, and Eliza Durkin {Dan Durkin}. Loving grandmother to Jacob Askin, Julia Durkin, and Jonathan Durkin. Special friend to Mere and Anare Mara Kubuabola. Suzanne was born in Saint Louis. She graduated from Mary Institute. She attended Sarah Lawrence College in New York. She married the late John Fell and moved first to Bozeman, Montana and later to San Francisco. After John’s retirement from San Francisco State University, they moved to Dover Plains, New York and reconnected with many of their friends in NYC. Subsequently they returned to California and lived in beautiful Marin County. Suzanne spent here final years living the life in Petaluma California. In lieu of flowers a gift of remembrance may be made to Hospice of Petaluma.
