Poughkeepsie man charged with possessing stolen property

PRESS RELEASE
Wappinger, New York – On July 15, 2017, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Christopher T. Fidelman, age 23, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony. Fidelman was also charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the Fifth Degree, both Misdemeanors.

An investigation revealed that Fidelman was in possession of marijuana, and items that had been reported stolen from vehicles.

Fidelman was arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Court, and he was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. His next appearance was scheduled for July 18, 2017, at 5:30 PM.

The New York State Police were assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of East Fishkill Police Department.
