July 5th, 2017 Rhinebeck, NY – Entries are now being accepted for the 2017 Dutchess County Fair. All individuals who would like to participate in one or more of the hundreds of classes and
competitions are encouraged to enter now! Be a part of the Dutchess County Fair’s mission to showcase the best of the best by entering the 2017 Dutchess County Fair’s Competitive Exhibits. The Dutchess County Fair opens August 22 – 27.

The Handbook, including entry forms, is now available for download and submission online at http://www.dutchessfair.com. While most registrations are due by August 1st, deadlines vary by department. There are exceptions (such as vegetables, flowers and field crops) so it is recommended that you refer to the Handbook for all deadlines and additional rules and regulations. Exhibit drop off varies by department. Check dutchessfair.com for specifics.

Anyone without a computer can easily obtain an Exhibitor Handbook by going to the following Town Halls in; Amenia, Clinton, Dover, East Fishkill, Fishkill, Hyde Park, Lagrange, Milan, Millbrook, Pine Plains, Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie (City & Town Hall), Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Stanford, Ulster, Union Vale and Wappingers Falls. The Village Halls of Fishkill, Millerton, Tivoli and Wappingers Falls will also have the books available. Additionally, the Clinton Library, Kingston City Hall, Starr Library, Cornell Cooperative Extension, G E Masten Feeds, Mac’s Agway (Red Hook), Hackett’s Agway,(Salt Point), Chatham Agway and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds Office have the books on hand for your convenience.

Aside from the Exhibitor Handbook, the Fair’s website http://www.dutchessfair.com also offers advance tickets to the August Fair at tremendous savings to fairgoers. Advance adult admission is $12 ($15 at the gate) and 10 ride tickets can be purchased for $20. Seniors & Military with valid ID are $10 each day. At the gate promotions include Tuesday’s $10 all day, Thursday’s promotion for adult admission is $7 after 5pm and on Sunday, Buy One Regular Admision, Get One Half Off. Children 11 years and under are admitted free each day.
