State Police announce 3 arrests for drug sales

A year long Investigation has resulted in three indictments. On May 24th, 2017, a Greene County Grand Jury indicted, Stacey M. Miller, age 35 of Hudson, NY for the following charges:

-1 count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony.
-1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony .

On June 14, 2017, a Greene County Grand Jury also indicted, Melissa A. Moore,  age 32 and Ronald A. Suarez, age 45, both of Earlton, NY for the following charges:

Suarez:
-1 count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a class C felony.
-1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, a class D felony.
-2 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony.
-2 counts of Criminal Possession of a controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony.

Moore:
-1 count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a class C felony.
-1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, a class D felony.
-1 count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony.
-1 count of Criminal Possession of a controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony.

In the summer of 2016, the State Police at Catskill and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office initiated an investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in and around the Towns of Cairo, Athens and Coxsackie. The lengthy investigation revealed evidence that Melissa Moore and Ronald Suarez were selling Hydrocodone and Oxycodone in the Town of Coxsackie. A separate investigation revealed that Stacey Miller was selling heroin in the Towns of Cairo and Catskill. The New York State Police in Catskill and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office were assisted in the investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Cairo Police Department. All three subjects were arraigned in Greene County Court. Miller was remanded to the Greene County Jail (GCJ) in lieu of $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond. Moore was remanded to the GCJ in lieu of $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond and Suarez was remanded on $35,000 cash and $70,000 bond.
