State Police in Cortlandt investigate one-car crash on Bear Mountain Bridge Road

Cortlandt, New York – On June 22, 2017 at approximately 2:07 p.m., New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched to a one-car personal injury auto collision that occurred on State Route 202.
An investigation indicates that a Toyota Corolla operated by Nazariy Myniv, age 20, of Yorktown Heights, New York, was traveling southbound on Bear Mountain Bridge Road. Myniv reportedly entered the northbound lanes and struck a rock wall after he lost control of the vehicle.
Cortlandt EMS responded to the scene and transported Myniv to the Bear Mountain Circle where he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
