Kathleen P. Zemsky of Putnam Lake, NY, died with her family by her side on June 21, 2017. She was 66 years old.
Kathleen was born on March 16, 1951 in Flushing, Queens, NY, daughter to the late William and Marie (Smith) Moir. On January 22, 1972 she married the love of her life Henry P. Zemsky at St. Mels Church in Flushing, Queens, NY.
Mrs. Zemsky was a school bus driver with the Brewster School District for over 20 years. As a resident of Putnam Lake, NY for more than 40 years she became very involved in the community. She was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a Catholic Daughter. Kathleen was a member of the Putnam Lake VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother enjoying all her time spent with family.
Kathleen is not only survived by her loving husband Henry but also her children; Henry P. Zemsky of Brewster, NY, Jessica Martini and her husband Robert of New Fairfield, CT, Genesis Zemsky of Poughquag, NY, Michael Zemsky of Brewster, NY, her siblings; John Moir of Albany, NY, Jackie Zuccarello and her husband (Andy) of Franklin Square, LI, NY and Joan Gallagher and her husband Joe of Franklin Square, LI, NY. Also her 6 grandchildren; Hunter, Sophia, Logan, Hannah, Nicolas and Francesca.
A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday July 1, 2017 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY. Interment will be private.
