Woodridge man arrested for having sex with a minor

The New York State Police Troop F Child Abuse Unit announces the arrest of Yermia “Jeremy” Solomon, age 25, from the Village of Woodridge.  Over the course of the investigation it was determined that Solomon engaged in sexual relations with a minor who was less than seventeen years old at the time. Solomon was charged with Rape in the 3rd Degree (a class E felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Official Misconduct (both class A misdemeanors).  Solomon was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.  An order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim and Solomon was ordered to return to the Village of Woodridge Court on a later date.
