LaGrange man arrested following physical dispute

PRESS RELEASE

LaGrange, New York – On June 19, 2017, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks supported by the Poughkeepsie Bureau of Criminal Investigation, arrested 22-year-old Robert A. Wilson of LaGrange, New York, for Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Violation.

On June 19, 2017, Troopers were dispatched to a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of LaGrange.  Following a verbal argument, it was discovered that Wilson was involved in a physical altercation with two protected parties named in a limited order of protection.

Wilson was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange before the Honorable Judge Hayes and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  He is due to reappear in the Town of LaGrange Court on June 20, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
