PRESS RELEASE
Pleasant Valley, New York – On June 14, 2017, New York State Police stationed at the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Michael Aloia, age 31, of Millbrook, New York, for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony, and Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On May 9, 2017, Troopers were contacted by a Pleasant Valley man who reported that someone unlawfully entered his home and stole his Xbox One.  Subsequent to a detailed investigation it was discovered that Aloia, who is acquainted with the victim, entered the victim’s home on May 8, 2017 and took the gaming console.

The defendant was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court before the Honorable Judge Sears and remanded to the Dutchess County jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  Aloia is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on June 27, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
