Obituary, Albert J. Bogert, Jr

 

Albert J. Bogert, Jr, 87, a 16-year resident of Pawling, passed away at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Born in Brooklyn on July 10, 1929, he was the son of Albert J. Bogert, Sr and Mildred (Lohrman) Bogert.  Mr. Bogert served in the US Army during the Korean War and was an accountant at IBM in Armonk and attended The Mission Church.

He is predeceased by his wife, the former Caryl Lillian Pearson who passed away April 27, 2000.

He is survived by his two sons, Wayne Bogert and his wife, Audrey, of Pawling and Bruce Bogert and his wife, Marcia, of Beaverton, OR; his daughter Gail Bogert and her husband, C. King Castle, of Macungie, PA; his sister, Joan Brigham of Windsor, CT; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather at 10 AM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling on Friday, June 9, 2017, where a service will be conducted at 11 AM; burial is private.
