Blessing of the Animals, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 20
Celebrate the creatures that bring love and joy into our lives. All pets are welcome, but they must be on leashes or in carriers. Doherty Park, 839 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Head to the fenced dog park in the back of the park. Sponsored by the Southeastern Dutchess Cooperative Parish of the United Methodist Church. Rain date is Sunday, May 21 from 2 to 5 p.m.
