Board change at the Dover Plains Library

Board change at the Dover Plains Library

Patricia Hoag, who has served on the Dover Plains Library’s Board of Trustees for many years, and in many different capacities, has officially stepped down from the Board.  Pat is revered as the Board’s expert on parliamentary procedure, and her service to the library has always gone above and beyond.  A small party is planned for June 7th at 7pm in appreciation of all she has done for the library.  This is open to the public, but you must RSVP to the library at 845-832-6605 by June 1st.

With this, the library welcomes its newest Board member, Joseph Tchorzyk.  Joe grew up in Brewster and moved to Wingdale in 2006 with his wife Magdalena. They have two boys in the Dover School District and they enjoy their weekly book runs and attending other library events. When he has free time, Joe likes reading comic books, building Legos and watching scary movies. He says, “I look forward to being part of the Library Board and working with the many great people who make all of the library events possible.”
