PRESS RELEASE

Pleasant Valley, New York – On May 14, 2017, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 22-year-old Travis Bathrick of Pleasant Valley, NY, for Rape in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Sexual Act 2nd Degree, both Class D Felonies.

On May 13, 2017, Troopers received a report regarding an alleged sex offense that occurred in the Town of Pleasant Valley.  An investigation revealed that Bathrick engaged in a sexual relationship with a female victim who is under the age of 15.

Bathrick was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court before Justice Sears and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.  Bathrick is scheduled to reappear in Pleasant Valley Court on May 19, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
