Protesters to be at Faso Amenia visit Friday

AMENIA, NY —  Rep. John Faso’s visit to the Hudson River Healthcare Community Health Center in Amenia Friday will be greeted by protesters from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m..

Demonstrators plan a die-in  in front of the Amenia Island Cemetery, which is across from the Hudson River Healthcare Community Health Center.

The health center depends largely on funding from Medicaid and Medicare that the current health care bill cuts.

The Hudson River Healthcare Community Health Center is located at 3360 Route 343 in Amenia.
