“I Love My Park Day”

They were among 30 volunteers in Poughkeepsie who spent theirSaturday collecting garbage, weeding and cleaning up the park. Statewide 8,000 rolled up their sleeves to help clean 125 New York State parks. Oliver, president of Women of AT&T Hudson  Valley noted, “Volunteering is part of AT&T’s DNA and our employees are very active in their communities where they live and work. AT&T has supported ‘I Love My Park Day’ since it started in 2012 contributing a total of $75,000.”  Women of AT&T Hudson Valley is a non-profit Employee Resource Group dedicated to providing opportunities for women and to creating ways to give back to local communities.

30 volunteers including members of Women of AT&T Hudson Valley spent their Saturday collecting garbage, weeding and cleaning up Walkway over the Hudson today in Poughkeepsie, NY, as part of “I Love My Park Day”. Across the state 8,000 performed similar tasks in 125 parks. AT&T has supported the statewide initiative since its inception in 2012, contributing $75,000.
