“Celebration of Aging” luncheon

If you’d like to support your Dutchess County senior friends and neighbors while enjoying the stories and advice of those who’ve made it around the sun 100 times or more, or whose marriages have lasted through eleven US presidencies, we’d love to have you at the annual Office for the Aging “Celebration of Aging” luncheon, coming up on Monday, May 22 at 12 noon at Villa Borghese, 70 Widmer Rd. in Wappingers Falls.

Any Dutchess resident who will be 100 or more this year will get in for free, along with one guest.

Any married Dutchess couple who will be married 70 years or more this year also get in for free.

And until this Friday (April 28), tickets to the luncheon for everybody else will be priced at $25 each, so free your calendar for Monday, May 22 and join us!

After April 28 the ticket price jumps to $40 each. (Your age 100+ or 70+-year-married friends will still have a few more weeks to decide whether they’d like to make plans to be there…and they’d still get in for free.)

This year we’ll also be honoring our Senior Citizens of the Year:

– Carole and Nick Annas of Red Hook, the Senior Couple of the Year
– John Thomas of Hyde Park, the Senior Male of the Year
– Jane Cole Geisler of Verbank, the Senior Female of the Year

Also, the residents of Castle Court at Concord Village in Poughkeepsie will receive a Special Achievement Award for their history of work on behalf of the community.

Your checks can be made out to the Office for the Aging and mailed to the address below…but remember, the lower ticket price will be in effect for only a couple more days!
Best wishes,
