More than eighty people showed up in Pawling on Friday night to protest Representative John Faso

Pawling, NY — April 21, 2017   More than eighty people showed up in Pawling on Friday night to protest Representative John Faso’s continued refusal to hold open town halls.  While Representative Faso gathered with donors at a fundraiser inside O’Connor’s Public House, local Dutchess County residents were outside issuing him an invitation to meet in an open venue with his constituents.

“We are wondering how Representative Faso has time for a fundraiser in our town, where people are paying $1500 to sit at his table, but doesn’t have the time to meet with residents who are concerned about losing their healthcare,” said the protest’s organizer and Pawling resident, Laura Malone.  “If he’s too scared to meet with his own constituents, how can he be tough enough to represent our interests in Washington?”
