Search warrant leads to the arrest of Poughkeepsie man wanted for drug possession and sales

Poughkeepsie, New York – On April 20, 2017, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department’s Neighborhood Recovery Unit (NRU) and Emergency Services Unit (ESU) conducted a search warrant at 16 Gray Street, Poughkeepsie, NY.

The search warrant was obtained to affect the arrest of Jaquon Dancy, age 21, who was wanted on a Dutchess County Criminal Court arrest warrant for Criminal Sale and Possession of a Controlled Substance (heroin) in the Third Degree, both Class B Felonies.

Jaquon Dancy was arraigned in the Dutchess County Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
